Simply put, return to work (RTW) means helping your employee get back to work as soon as possible after a work-related injury or illness. Developing the culture and business processes to support RTW is not achieved overnight. It includes developing policies and procedures, educating workers about early reporting of injuries, and working with supervisors to look creatively at job tasks and essential job functions.
