Agents appointed by MEC are provided with a wide range of resources to assist them in acquiring new business and retaining their existing accounts.

To be considered for an appointment with MEC you must:

  • Be a licensed agent in good standing with your respective State Department(s) of Insurance. 
  • Have an active agent Errors & Omissions (E&O) Policy with a minimum aggregate limit of $1,000,000. 
  • Complete our online Agent Appointment Application.

The appointment process begins with the initial submission for an Excess Workers Compensation quote. The following information must be submitted to establish your proper appointment with Midwest Employers Casualty Company. Appointment fees will be paid by MEC.
